product & application studio / scotland

Your business already works. We build the software that keeps up.

Web applications, PWAs and the systems behind them. We design the architecture, write the code, and stay on afterwards.

01 / what_we_build

Software, and the structure underneath it

Most of what we make doesn't look like a website. It looks like the thing your team opens every morning.

02 / why_us

You don't need to understand any of it

You tell me what's driving you mad. I go away, work out how to fix it, and come back and explain it in normal words. That's the whole arrangement.

"Will I be talking to a salesman?"

No. You get me, Rob, on the phone and on the email. The person who builds it is the person you speak to, start to finish.

"I don't know what I need"

That's normal, and it's my job, not yours. Tell me what takes too long or goes wrong too often. I'll tell you whether it's worth fixing.

"Will it cost more than you said?"

You get one price in writing before anything starts. If the job grows, I come and ask you first. No surprise bills.

"My staff won't get on with it"

Then it's failed. I sit with whoever's using it, show them properly, and write it down in plain English so nobody's guessing.

"What if you vanish?"

Everything's in your name — the website, the accounts, the lot. You could hand it to someone else tomorrow and they'd have what they need.

"And after it's built?"

I'm still here. Something's gone squiffy, you want a change, you just ask. That's what the monthly plans below are for.

Still not sure? Ring me and describe the problem. It's a chat, not a pitch.

04 / about

RSC Media Ltd

A Scottish studio working with small and medium businesses on the software side. Sometimes that's a website. Usually it's the application behind it — the bit that takes bookings, tracks jobs and saves someone three hours a week.

Straightforward conversations, honest estimates. If you don't need what you're asking for, we'll say so.
